The Icetec Model

Icetec provides the client with an on-site server installation. The servers provided run all database, Internet services, and applications (operating plans and custom analysis programs) necessary to provide the Icetec services. The system, which is provided and maintained without additional cost, allows the client to view and control the process.

Clients access these services through a website provided by Icetec (i.e. client.icetec.biz).

Icetec software can interface with any existing process or control system to obtain system data.

Icetec charges a one time fee for the hardware and software installation at the client site. These fees are paid back to the client during the course of the contract and are deducted from the monthly savings before calculating any shared benefit.

The client receives the benefit of both the energy savings and a process SCADA and control interface. Shared benefit is based upon guaranteed or non-guaranteed options. The client may run multiple instances of these applications without additional cost.

Icetec provides clients with many royalty free interactive applications running on client servers as a means of providing data, and unifying market and economic data with client process data.
